In Electropathy,using electricity medicines as externals,is based on law of polarity. Polarity in Electropathy explain minute electric charges of human body. The law of polarity was first demonstrated by Dr.charazain & m.decle in 1886. There are two charges [positive,negative] balanced equally in our body. Right half of the body,face,trunk:feet:palm has negative charges. Left half of the body,face,trunk has positive charges. Inner part contains negative whereas outer part contains positive charges. In mid line of body from top of the head to pubis, there is alternatively positive & negative charges.[Neutral] If any disease appear in the body,it will alter the charges. If positive pole of magnet apply over positive part of body produces contraction of muscles. If negative pole of magnet apply over ngative part of body produces contraction of muscles. If apply negative pole magnet to positive part or positive pole magnet to negative part produces relaxation of muscles. Absolutely the same phenomenon are produced by application of electricity medicines.
Temperament or constitution is the characteristic feature of human body. In electropathy,the treatment is based on temperament. Before choosing a right medicine for a patient,an electropathy doctor must be known patient 's temperament. Dr.c.c. mattei's medicine specifically acts on temperament based. According to him,the causes of disease is alteration of blood & lymph. So his treatment is also based on blood & lymph. If the patient belongs to lymph,he used scrofoloso group of medicine. If the patient is blood prone, he gave angioticos. Human being contain mainly 2 types of temperaments; 1.Lymphatic 2.Sanguine. We want to give more importance for nature of person for selecting correct medicine. Because Dr.C.C.Mattei had given more concentration to temperament than cause of disease during preparation of medicine. He prepared medicine on that basis only.i.e Blood acting remedies & Lymph acting remedies. He knew sanguine persons mostly suffer from blood related disorders & lymphatic persons from lymph oriented disorders. The basic principle of electropathy is to purify lymph & blood. Dr.Mattei also explained an another nature called mixed temperament. If patient suffer from both blood & lymph disorders for a long time,he may turns into mixed type. So mixed type of persons have both blood & lymph characters. Temperament is different from person to person. It can be easily recognised by Electropathic physician. Some eh doctors fails to find out patient's temperament before selecting medicines. Just they choose medicine on the basis of symptoms/causes of diseases. Its not a right way to treat the cases successfully through electropathy. Some doctors feel it as so difficult but there is no difficult. The temperament may be changed in same person under some circumstances. The patient's original constitution is greatly changed in state of shock/consumption of alcohol / use of strong drugs. Normal metabolism means constructive & destructive process are quiet well. so metabolic process is very essential for life. These metabolic activities is maintained by 2 vital fluids called blood & lymph. If any alteration is in blood & lymph,our bodily functions will be disturbed greatly. It may prevents nutrition and fails to protect the body. Finally,disease or morbid growth may be the result. So electropathy will be given only after confirmation of temperament.
